Driving along the new central cross island highway which links between AliShan and Sun moon Lake around 107Km long is one of the most beautiful places to be in Taiwan. The air is cool and refreshing. Many nature lovers would just head up to this area either for bird watching or a light hike around the park. The more spontaneous hiker would take the challenge scaling the Jade Mountain or nearby mountains. The Park Centre which provides information a round the park is located at Tataka which sits at 2610mtrs high above sea level.
